[BUG] iOS app crash loop when enabled this plugin

Problem description:

I'm using iCloud folders as vaults so I can sync vaults on any apple device.
When enabled this plugin on iOS of my MAIN vault, Obsidian app crashes and reload every 5~6 seconds.
There are no crash and working properly on MAIN vault on mac and other vaults on iOS

Your environment:

Currently all devices Obsidian apps and Omnisearch on my devices already up-to-date.
Obsidian version: 1.11.5
Omnisearch version: 1.28.0

Things to try:

• Does the problem occur when Omnisearch is the only active community plugin: YES for MAIN vault on iOS devices.
• Does the problem occur when you don't index PDFs, images, or other non-notes files: YES for MAIN vault on iOS devices.
• Does the problem occur after a cache reset: YES for MAIN vault on iOS devices.

I have the same problem. Omnisearch always crashes Obsidian on my iPhone. Sometimes on my iPad. On the iPhone it happens so fast I can’t even disable Omnisearch on the iPhone.

As it stands right now, I can only use Obsidian on my iPhone by disabling all community plugins. FWIW In the past I’ve managed to get Omnisearch disabled on my phone, when that happens I have no crash, so we have evidence that OmniSearch is involved.

How can I help debug this?

Same issue here. I managed to create a new config file for my iPhone, so that I could set up community plugins separately on mobile. That then allowed me to install just a few plugins. (See this Reddit thread for instructions.) Omnisearch is definitely the culprit.

I've been dealing with this issue for weeks as well, and even posted about it a couple of days ago on Reddit and the Obsidian forum.

Today I've been turning off the community plugins in my vault from my MacBook and then waiting for iCloud to push the change to my phone, and then I'd restart the Obsidian mobile app and see if it started working again. A few moments ago I tested disabling Omnisearch and confirmed that this was the culprit for me as well.

Hopefully this can be fixed soon so I can re-enable it, because I love this plugin and rely on it heavily each day. (I might try the workaround @BixBeiderbecke mentioned - thanks btw! - and have a separate config for mobile, but I would rather go back to having a full config sync once this crash issue is resolved.)
