Incompatible with NetworkManager

Problem

Debian 12 switched to Network Manager, which causes all kinda of problems with doing things with wpa_supplicant manually. Even if wpa_supplicant.service is disabled, masked, and stopped so it doesn't interfere with the credential check, it doesn't connect to the AP after rebooting. This puts us in a loop where we're eternally in the initial setup phase.

Solution

Work with NetworkManager if it is present, and fallback to the current code if it is not.
