Change graphics/fonts

Firstly: incredible software! I can't wait to build my own mini web radio!
However, I have a different idea for the UI aesthetics.
I can imagine that, if I change the images in [Content_on_SD_Card.zip], while keeping file properties unchanged (especially size) I can achieve my objective. What about using a different font and font color?

Yes, it is definitively an improvement! I am asking because I am building an art nouveau-inspired radio and I am looking for adapting the visuals to this retrò feeling.
Afterwards, I could propose a pull request (never done before, but I can learn) to make this special look (set of icons and wallpaper) available to everyone, or just fork your project for my own use.
PS: can I change the font colour? I did not see the option in platformio.ini

At close look you can see, that I am using png in some cases. For the time /big numbers/ I am using own 7-segment font on SD card.
I also changed fonts - 7 segment - b/w for volume a Stationnumber.

I am working on a fork that should enable easier color configuration in platformio.ini and in settings.h. After testing it properly and after understanding how this "pull" thing work, I might send you a pull request to integrate the changes in the main branch, if you like the idea.

Yes. I like it. As a problem I see unification of definition exact colors in one file e.g. layout.hpp or graphical.hpp and using transparent numbers /png/ at changing volume and station number.

I am not sure about what you exactly mean because I have not tested the radio, yet, as I am waiting for the parts, and the picture you sent shows normal fonts (I don't see where you use "7 segment - b/w" for volume and station number). However, I found the png you use for the clock, so I understand the general issue.
Anyway, for any png text and for the buttons, any change requires playing with the png files - the user must just be aware of this (and for some, me included, it is probably more straightforward than modifying the code, especially if you plan to make further changes from time to time and would rather avoid a software update which can bring new issues).
