Incomplete time

Is it possible to have a similar functionality as PREFER_DAY_OF_MONTH': 'last'|'first' but for time?
The idea is I'd like to be able to define time ranges of entire months such as:
--from March --to March that would give me 01-Mar 00:00 to 31-Mar 23:59.

Currently with PREFER_DAY_OF_MONTH': 'last' I'm able to get 01-Mar 00:00 to 31-Mar 00:00, but that doesn't cover the full month.

What input are we talking about?

If you just want to get the first and last datetime of a given month, I don’t think that’s within the scope of Dateparser. Dateparser is meant to parse a date from an input string.

Yes, that's exactly what I was saying.

Currently if the input is "March", then I have 2 options:

If I just use dateparser with default config, the output is datetime.datetime(2021, 03, 01, 0, 0)
If I use dateparser with options['PREFER_DAY_OF_MONTH'] = "last", the output is datetime.datetime(2021, 03, 31, 0, 0)

The output I would like is datetime.datetime(2021, 03, 31, 23, 59) to not just reflect the last day of the month, but also the last minute (or second) of the day

That looks like the right solution. What's important is to ensure that the setting is used only if the parsed string does not contain a time expression (which is what makes the workaround complex to use)
