@scrubbless , I have seen this bug before on some scenarios. Usually, it's a problem with some UI that left a "hide element" that blocks the menu and the game screen. It could be this case.

I'll take a look and fix this bug, as @vidimus has mentioned I suspect it's either a UI element ordering issue (I use a lot of transparent images and lots of layers to get everything to line up) . Or there is a missing image, which has happened in the past, that can crash Valkyrie completely

Did a bell ring for "Visiting time" and the party get transported to the dining room? This is the transition from "Phase 1" to "Phase 2". The scenario is split into three phases (I assume you didn't make it to the final phase so I won't spoil that).
