I tried with Alicia's way of dealing with sessions, but I end up with this issue: spinalcordtoolbox/spinalcordtoolbox#4930 (comment)

So I went back to my original hack until there is a better solution: f4ab8a5

I changed a few paths and I fixed it on my side here: 5c3c002

I tested 2337b24, and still run into the same issue:

What I tried:

• bash and zsh
• full path and relative path for -path-data and -path-output

I've experienced the same issue on macOS, interestingly removing the R option from rsync helped:

rsync -avzh $PATH_DATA/./$SUBJECT .
