Hi, I am a tutor for the AY2526s1 sem. I think Google's NotebookLM can be a useful tool when students approach the programming tasks for ip/tp. Even though this tool does not directly help students with generating code based on given requirements, it offers a strong and fast ability to tidy up important notes in the course materials.

Students can export course website content as pdf or use official course documents and interact with the AI to quickly recall important knowledge such as coding standards, UML concepts, ip/tp constraints etc, hence allowing them to spend more time coding themselves.

@damithc Yes, it is for general study purposes. But personally, I find it useful to keep track of nitty-gritty details and constraints in documentation and save time. My take is that having too many ai coding tools as options for students may be a bit too distracting. But if there can be something that is helpful in other directions, perhaps it can help more in the course projects?

That's a fair point @MAOXIONGKAI
But in this case we are looking to expose students specifically to AI coding tools, as part of the course learning outcomes.
