Recent update to Chrome or maybe Zoom has stopped the extension from working

The extension has stopped working within the last couple of weeks. A few other people are reporting the same in the extension reviews. My current OS and Chrome versions:

• macOS 10.14.6 (18G6032)
• Chrome 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Let me know if there is other information I can collect to help troubleshoot.

Same issue here, but i noticed it right after I updated Zoom to v5.4.7

Mac OS 10.15.7
Chrome 87.0.4280.88

Good thinking providing the Zoom version 🤦🏼 , I too am running 5.4.7:
Version: 5.4.7 (59780.1220)

...and, it worked this morning 🤷 I'm going to try with a few different zoom meetings/urls to see if there is something there.

After testing, still not working...

More testing - I grabbed the URL from the tab that popped up when entering a meeting i had connected to -

https://somecorp.zoom.us/j/xxxxxxxxxxxx?pwd=zxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#success

I then manually closed the tab, I opened a new tab and pasted in the previous "success" URL, 6sec later, the tab closed like it should. So, the extension is working, but it seems there is something new/diff in the URLs or the extension is unable to read the URL dynamically.
