E-Mail links with mailto allow you to specify a couple of default values for the E-Mail, like subject, body, CC, BCC, etc. For example: mailto:[email protected]?subject=Foo&body=Bar.
Entering an email with additional parameters in the input for the email link type is not possible, because the input is validated as an email. It would be useful if you could enter those parameters in a suffix field, similar to the entry field type. This one has an option Allow users to enter custom queries that will be appended to the url. A similar setting could be added to the email link type, which could display an additional field in which to enter those additional parameters for the mailto link.
