docs for --filter mention undefined term 'test name' and don't mention how to target data sets

The docs for --filter say:

Filter which tests to run using pattern matching on the test name.

But what is a 'test name'? I can't find a definition for that term.

Also, this doesn't mention that you can use @ with the dataset name.
