As for LINUX, I think the first goal should be to be able to build it on ubuntu-24.04.

Hey everyone!
Creating a discussion thread to more or less help track where we're at with the great develop migration. I'd like us all to consider what changesets seem low risk to ship out over the coming months - pretty much anything is on the table at this point. Please use this thread to propose any specific changesets that would be good to pull in. PRs and commits all the same.
Just some quick notes on the maint-b merge into 2025.03.
We've decided to move forward with maint-b for 2025.03 - for the most part.
We determined that while what's in maint-b makes sense for us by and large, the Linux stuff just isn't really worth merging in from that release. archive/develop has a much more complete setup for that - and it likely makes much more sense to pursue that (or accept a more holistic change set) once we've gotten a bit more caught up here.
As for what's next - we will be evaluating maint-c's viability for 2025.04 or 2025.05. We also want to get a few other misc contributions in - we'll see what makes the cut for 2025.03, but most likely at this point we'll be kicking the can over to 2025.04 unless we identify some particularly low risk and easy to cherry pick stuff to get through the backlog. We're finding a couple here and there about every other day and will continue to pull those in as we get to them.
