Backup fails to restore, hash mismatch

Hi,

I get a hash mismatch error upon restoration, I think the backup maybe corrupted, I used a usb stick for backup.
I need to fix this and restore what can be restored, a partial restoration is better than nothing.
How can I repair the backup and restore it?
how can I recalculate the hash and fool it?
