Current metadata is for FHIR. I think the current approach is to just mesh them together.

i'm not sure the fhir metadata is super helpful. what if we just replaced the json with the above?

The way it's structured now, fields like device, taskname, duration, etc. are all present, it's just in a FHIR resource structure. I can add the new fields (Instructions, TaskDescription) in the FHIR resources to maintain continuity.

@Evan8456 - i think we do want it to get close to bids as much as possible. the fhir thing was relevant if we wanted to put it into a store, but we are not doing that anymore. so simplifying the json would be good.
