[Feature Request] Add support for unix domain sockets

Adding support for UDS would be greatly appreciated as they allow for better scoping of permissions (kind of irrelevant here) and allow proxy setups to be organized better / cleaner.

If there's interest from the maintainer, I might just do it myself.
