The higher the number, the better, so leave it set to "default". |

"default" will use the number of logical CPU cores you have as the number of threads. It's the recommended configuration. The more threads you use the more memory you will need, consider 1 GB of memory for each core, just for the application, 1GB more for the system. |

Thank you Nassif Now it's clear. In tests performed on a machine with a GPU and 120GB of memory, I found results close to ideal, using around 60 to 80 threads in the definition, and with Xmx at 64GB. |

I always have this question:
How many threads should I configure for IPED processing?
Somewhere I read that it should be based on the number of logical processors in the hardware.
I also read that each thread uses 1MB of available memory.
So: What is the correct number to configure?
