S3/MinIO

Hi everyone,

I’m testing the MinIOTask and running IPED with the following command:

jre\bin\java -D"MinioCredentials=accesskey:KEY;secretkey:PASSWORD;bucket:iped" -jar iped.jar -d "E:\thiagocaparelli\medium.iso" -o "E:\thiagocaparelli\teste3-saida"

During processing I get this log message:

[ERROR] [engine.task.MinIOTask] Passing the bucket as a parameter may prevent removing the evidence from the case.

From this message I understand that passing the bucket as a parameter may interfere with removing the evidence from the case.

However, my actual goal is the opposite:

export all items’ content to S3/MinIO;

remove the evidence from the case to save local disk space;

and later, when I try to open a file in IPED, have it fetch the content directly from S3/MinIO.
