Bookmarks lost after reload when importing manually saved .iped file (IPED 4.2.2) #2726

Description

@Descadeirado

Hi,

I was working on an IPED report that was mounted from an ISO. Since I had already created some bookmarks and didn’t want to lose them, I manually saved the bookmarks to a .iped file.

After that, I exported the report to a writable drive, reopened the case, and loaded the .iped bookmarks file I had saved. IPED loads the bookmarks correctly the first time, but every time I close IPED and open the case again, all bookmarks are gone.

It looks like the manually saved bookmarks were saved in a format that is not compatible with IPED 4.2.2. When I inspect the header of this .iped file, it contains:
%iped.engine.data.MultiBitmapBookmarks

However, a “normal” .iped file created by IPED 4.2.2 (where bookmarks persist correctly across reloads) has a header like:
iped.engine.data.BitmapBookmarks

Could you please check if this issue can be reproduced and, if possible, fixed?

Thanks in advance!
