Stellaris path can't be found on Linux Mint

Running on a nearly fresh install of Linux Mint. Upon running the unlocker, I can't get past the Stellaris path selection. I enter the path that Stellaris is installed in and it says "This is not Stellaris path." I saw a commit claiming to add Linux support, but I'm not sure if this base was covered. I have previously run this installer on Windows 10 and 11 several times so I don't believe this is user error.
The chosen path that it rejects is: /home/name/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/Stellaris
