Did retail openly reveal the reward in the quest dialogue for the first two quests instead of hiding it with a mystery box icon (?) before Jane's very last dialogue to tell you if it turned out successful or not? I mean, it only makes sense if that were the case like other quests with random rewards. Need to do more research.

• For the quest "John's Present", some of the horizontal/vertical saw blades in the second map aren't working. There's a video here that proves that the saws should hit players. I don't know if all the throwing-stars are real. Need to do more research. Blue Viola is not taken out of your inventory upon completing the quest. You are rewarded gloves based on your job with no stats. (Quest equip rewards have no stats #69, Some of the saw blades in JQ maps aren't working #162)

• The quest "Camila's Gem" has Camila ask me to deliver a Sparkling Glass Marble to Utah. She asks me to Hidden Street: Utah's Pig Farm. The map is a maze with Ribbon Pigs running around that requires the player to reach Utah before the timer runs out. I tested the timer by letting it run out; it kicked me back to Henesys. However, revisiting the map did not have any Ribboned Pigs. Upon speaking to Utah, he should reward you with either Cake or Pig Illustrated; need to confirm outcomes. I happen to get Cake. (No Ribboned Pigs when revisiting Utah's Pig Farm #164)

It's interesting how the quest "Find the Maple History Book" doesn't have the quest "... 2" fall under it, even though it shares the same questline. The quest appears in Available after "Find the Maple History Book " has been completed, but the quest descriptor is blank.

However, hunting over 500 each of Jr. Cellion, Jr. Lioner, and Red Drake hasn't yielded a single Flaming Feather. However, the Item ID exists. Upon speaking to Luke, he should reward you with Old Bronze Nordic Helm. According to here, exp should not be part of the reward. (Quest items not dropped for certain quests #165)

• The quest "What Pia Has Borrowed" has Rina ask for 1 Black Crystal, 1 Ancient Scroll, and 30 Tauromacis Horn. However, hunting over 500 Dark Stone Gollem hasn't yielded a single Ancient Scroll. However, the Item ID exists. If you hand over the quest items to then decline or end chat before accepting the next part of the quest, you will need to get them again. However, you will get another +500 exp. Rina will give you Red Cape. If you happen to toss it, you can get another one by talking to her. The quest "Pia's Present for a Friend" has Pia reward me with +1,000 exp, and both the Scorpio (M) / Mantis (F) sets. According to here, exp should not be part of the reward, and only one set of armor should be given based on gender that could come in three random flavors (Light, Oaker/Bloody, Dark/Umber). However, here says the reward is +1,000 exp, and that either the Scorpio (M) / Mantis (F) set will always come in Dark/Umber. Maybe because the job GM resulted in getting both sets? Regardless, need to confirm outcomes. I happen to get Dark Scorpio.

Regardless, need to confirm outcomes. I happen to get Blue Gore Boots. Need to test the other outcomes.

The quest "The Stump Horror Story" seems to be made a pre-requisite for the "I Need To Find My Daughter" questline. According to here, "The Reason Behind the Mushroom Studies" is the only pre-requisite mentioned. I mean, completing the entire questline to then do "The Stump Horror Story" wouldn't make much sense in terms of storytelling. Need to do more research.

The quest "Fixing Blackbull's" House has Blackbull reward me with either Steel Shield or Red Triangular Shield; need to confirm outcomes. I happen to get Steel Shield.

• The quest "Building Blackbull's New House" has Blackbull ask for certain quest items. However, hunting over 500 Curse Eyes hasn't yielded a single "Blackbull's" deed to the land. However, the Item ID exists. You are rewarded with +15,000 Mesos, +1,000 exp, and Fame (+2). Scroll for [Weapon] for ATT (10%) was also supposed to be part of the reward of your choice, but was not given. Stone Golem Rubble, Processed Wood, and "Blackbull's" deed to the land were not taken out of your inventory upon completing the quest. (Quest items not dropped for certain quests #165)

Something to note is that the quest has a slightly different name, titled "Building a New House for "Blackbull"", according to here, which is what's currently being used. The quest name is titled "Building Blackbull's New House" according to here.

If you hand over the items to then decline or end chat before accepting the next part of the quest, you will need to get them again. However, you will get another +1,000 exp. The quest cannot be completed: The quest has ended due to an unknown error. Therefore, the questline cannot be completed. • The quest "Hero's Gladius" has Manji ask you to talk to Chrishrama. Manji will give you Old Gladius. If you happen to toss it, you will need to forfeit and restart the quest to get another one. However, it doesn't seem players require the Old Gladius to commit to the next part of the quest; I tossed it out before completing the quest. The Old Gladius is not required until you get to the end of "Reawakening the Gladius", which is the next quest. (Quests not being saved as completed if there is a next quest #158)

• The quest "Reawakening the Gladius" has Chrishrama ask for a Star Rock, a Piece of Ice, an Ancient Scroll, and a Flaming Feather. Something to note is that Chrishrama had a light bulb over his head instead of a book, especially when there weren't other available quests from him. The quest descriptor says to talk to Mike for more details regarding those quest items. It's interesting that Mike doesn't progress the questline, but will give you more information on the quest items only when this quest is set in motion. However, hunting over 500 monsters for each rare drop respectively hasn't yielded a single, Piece of Ice, Ancient Scroll, or Flaming Feather. However, the Item IDs exist. Once you have all the quest items in hand, you will not be able to complete the quest if you've tossed Old Gladius. The Old Gladius is apparently not a required item to trigger a book over Chrishrama's head, which needs to be fixed. You will need to keep forfeiting until you reach the beginning of the questline to get another Old Gladius from Manji to then progress back to where you were. Chrishrama rewarded me with +1,000 exp and Hero's Gladius (Etc). However, if you decide to drop it, you'll never be able to continue or complete the questline. You cannot talk to Chrishrama for a new one. After completing the quest, In Progress shows a timestamp of when it was completed. I don't recall having ever seen something like this happening before. • The quest "Hero's Gladius" has Manji reward you with +1,000 exp and either Hero's Gladius or Skull Earrings. According to here, +1,000 exp should only be given out once. Chrishrama already gave it, but Manji will also give another +1,000 exp; who should be the one giving it out? I'm guessing Manji would make more sense. It also doesn't say Hero's Gladius or Skull Earrings would be a choice-type reward, but according to here, it is. The quest cannot be completed; you can keep talking to Manji repeatedly for additional rewards and +1,000 exp. The Hero's Gladius (Etc) will not be removed from your inventory either. • The quest "Hero's Gladius" is the name of both the beginning and end of the questline, according to here. This raises some questions as to why "The Ocean View: Kriel's Offer" is the name of both the beginning and end of the questline "The View of the Ocean" when it doesn't explicitly say that compared to the questline "Manji's Old Gladius". Forfeiting the latter "Hero's Gladius" and talking to Manji will give the appearance that the questline has been restarted to the former "Hero's Gladius" because of the quest dialogue. But once you accept the quest, it will be evident it's the latter. (Quests not being saved as completed if there is a next quest #158)

• The quest "Arwen and the Glass Shoes" has Arwen the Fairy ask for Arwen's Glass Shoes. However, hunting over 1,000 Fire Boars hasn't yielded a single Glass Shoes. However, the Item ID exists. According to here it is a RARE drop. Upon speaking to Arwen, she should reward you with either Fairy's Wing or Piece of Ice; need to confirm outcomes. I happen to get Fairy's Wing. (Quest items not dropped for certain quests #165)

According to here, what version of MapleStory would Arwen have an option to where you would select "I heard you lost a pair of Glass Shoes"? The quest is also renewable, but unsure about time interval. Need to do more research.

• The quest "Delivering a Mysterious Item" has Wing the Fairy ask me to deliver Tears of Kelvelos to Kriel the Fairy. If you decline or end the chat with Kriel before you take up the next part of the quest, you will not be able to pick up from where you ended off. You need to forfeit the quest and go back to Wing to restart from the very beginning. You will get another +2000 exp from restarting the quest. (Quests not being saved as completed if there is a next quest #158)

The quest "Helping Kriel Out" has Kriel the Fairy reward me with a random Scroll for [Glove/Weapon] for ATT (60%); need to confirm outcomes. I forgot what I received.

Something to note is that Kriel the Fairy asks me to help her collect Empty Bottles from wooden boxes. I always thought that the main part of Orbis would have them, but there aren't any around. Only maps in the other parts of town.

• The quest "Sabitrama and the Diet Medicine" has Sabitrama ask me to talk to Shane. For a fee of 10,000 Mesos Shane will let me into his forest to retrieve a herb called Pink Anthurium. It will take you into a map with obstacles you need to get past to reach a pile of flowers. Did the platforms with Lupins throwing bananas always spike players? Weren't there dialogue asking to come closer when clicking on NPC a pile of pink flower if you're too far way? Sabitrama rewards you with a random Scroll for Overall Armor for DEF (60% / 10%); need to confirm outcomes. (Check JQ NPC interaction distance #161)

• The quest "Sabitrama and the Diet Medicine" has Sabitrama ask me to talk to Shane. For a fee of 20,000 Mesos Shane will let me into his forest to retrieve a herb called Double-Rooted Red Ginseng. It will take you into a map with obstacles you need to get past to reach a pile of herbs. Weren't there dialogue asking to come closer when clicking on NPC a pile of herbs if you're too far way? Sabitrama rewards you with a random Scroll for Overall Armor for DEF (60% / 10%); need to confirm outcomes. According to here, revisiting the JQ should give you either Red-Hearted Earrings, Gold Ore, Black Crystal Ore, or Diamond Ore. However, I have yet to receive Red-Hearted Earrings. (Check JQ NPC interaction distance #161)

It's interesting that Shane mentions Arwen the Fairy trying to sneak into his forest, and dropped something over there in the process. This was after completing the final JQ. I haven't completed the quest "Arwen and the Glass Shoes" at this point before either.
