java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size exceeds VM budget

i want to check what happen with this imagedownloader when developer try to 
show up to high dimensional image in listview so i modify  all urls with 1024 
dimensional images in ImageAdapter.java for example

after 1-2 image downloading app will crushed ...please help in this section how 
handle these issue. am new in android to handle memory management
