I was going to post an issue about how Input Remapper stopped injecting to my keypad partially and then completely. But when I wanted to look and try Input Remapper again today, I noticed the program just disappeared. Or at least the launch-icon is gone. - Is it perhaps because I had it installed as a Flatpak (I think, not sure now) and then updated it with a file directly from here (if that's even possible)? Or could something else have happened?
I did nothing unusual with the system but use it and boot it a few times since I've last seen the program, though I did see a lot of Linux/kernel-updates come in, so I'm not sure if that did anything or what. - This is on Pop!_OS, although I did NOT update to that latest release (using Cosmic), but I feel that it's getting less stable/reliable regardless. - I am planning to move to another distro soon, however. Just not yet.
It's worth noting that the .config-folder is still there, although it seems to be emptied, other than one folder for one device with just a preset called "new preset". - I did, luckily, make a copy of all that was in it recently.
Anyone know what could have happened? - Also, what would be the next step to re-install or fix it?
