I find the programming between Input and Output to be rather circuitous because of the obscure nature, in that, to see what each Input-key is programmed to in the Output, you need to click it in the Input-list to see it in the Output-section, which in turn is rather empty with just the single piece of information (plus whatever input happened last below it, which tends to say "left click" anyway, which is also confusing until you get used to it).
I would rather have a list-view of all programmed Outputs in one glance. - The best way I think to do it is to make the Output-section a list like the Input-section, simply the same exact bars as on the left also on the right, and perhaps also (optionally) synchronize the lists as you scroll either of them.
Additionally, the "last input" indicator could be put a bit lower, such as in the bar at the bottom where it shows the "applied preset", but of course more to the right where it is already.
That way, you could simply see everything at a glance and don't have to click each Input to see what output it's programmed to. - Currently I'm compensating by using the labels in the Inputs-list, such as entering the key and what it's programmed to do.

I would like to not have to practically create a memo for each key and rather use the labels to actually describe what the final functions are for each profile's respective application later on. But at least the labels are more than what Razer's Synapse offers, as it basically has the same issue of needing to check each key in case you forget. - And it would also prevent overlooking mistakes, because to check you also need to click each individual key again.
Just having a list with all the information on the right would increase the convenience significantly.
