Record doesn't pick up Razer Orbweaver

I've installed OpenRazer, added myself to the plugdev group, and rebooted. Upon launching input-remapper, I select my Orbweaver device, click add, then record. No matter what I press on the Orbweaver, nothing happens in input-remapper. It just stays in "recording" mode. Below is a picture of what I see as well as the tail of debug logs. My expectation at this point was for the application to detect I was pressing a key and then un-grey the output section.

is the Orbweaver the only affected device? Does Inputremapper work for other devices?
