It seems to me there are two issues happening. The first issue is a permission issue which I think you can solve it by adding the --user option, i.e. pip install --user dataprep.

For the second issue, I think it is due to the SSL problem. I guess this issue does not only happen to DataPrep, but also to any package installations using pip on your computer right?

We are currently working on submitting DataPrep to conda-forge but meanwhile, you can have a try on the command conda install -c conda-forge -c sfu-db dataprep.

@chambon sorry we met some technical issues when uploading DataPrep to Anaconda, even for our own channel. Will get back to you as soon as we solved the problem.

For pip installation, could you have a try on the command pip install dataprep --trusted-host pypi.org --trusted-host files.pythonhosted.org --trusted-host pypi.python.org --user?

Now you can install dataprep using conda install -c conda-forge dataprep.
