xterm: Backspace and Ctr+C issues

I have encountered a weird issue in XTerm:

• Hitting Ctrl+C just prints ^C to the console.
• Hitting Backspace does what Ctrl+C is supposed to do

This is XTerm from sgug-0.0.7. Keybindings work as expected in system (6.5.22f) XTerm and winterm/xwsh.
