Monorepo initialization err wiht npm

## Issue with npm in Turborepo + shadcn/ui setup

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to initialize a Turborepo + shadcn/ui monorepo project using npm, but I'm running into errors during setup.

Interestingly, when I use other package managers like pnpm or yarn, everything works fine and no errors occur.

What I tried

• Initializing the project with npm
• Running npm install
• Switching to pnpm/yarn (which worked without issues)

Problem

• npm fails during installation with errors (not sure why)
• The same setup works perfectly with other package managers

Questions

• Is npm not fully supported or reliable for this kind of setup?
• Are there known issues with npm and Turborepo or shadcn/ui?
• Is it recommended to always use pnpm for monorepos like this?
