Shadcn + Tailwind 3

Currently have to work on a legacy project that's looking to build another subset of their app, is there any way to override the install to utilize tailwind 3? The CLI commands in the docs force the canary version, thus installing tailwind 4.

Would be appreciated.

I've updated the docs and added a callout for using [email protected] for Tailwind v3.

Cheers! Appreciate it :) We would have used v4, however, as the other repo issues have indicated, v4 seems to still be relatively unstable.

Run pnpm dlx [email protected] init only works if I choose "Next.js". If I select "Next.js (Monorepo)" it still generates everything latest, including Tailwind v4.
