When trying to make followers and following visible all users in a profile page, a bug exists due to the implementation not being designed for this purpose. User 1 clicking follow on User 2's home page will make User 2 follow the individual.

The followers and following pop up should be implemented in a way such that clicking buttons acts on the user operating the webpage instead of the user of the home page.
