Brief summary of issue

The latest shutter GitHub version cannot copy screenshot to clipboard.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Install the latest shutter GitHub version.
2. Create a screenshot and copy it.

Error output

The image doesn't appear in the clipboard.

Extra information, such as Shutter version, display server in use (Xorg or Wayland), operating system and ideas for how to solve:

1. Shutter version: the latest shutter GitHub version compiled by me.
2. Display server: Xorg.
3. Operating system:

$ lsb_release -a

It is due to this commit: https://github.com/shutter-project/shutter/pull/773/files

Maybe there is another way to get rid of the warning.

Interesting, for me that commit worked. Maybe it depends on version of something?

It doesn't crash or something, it's just that if you activate "copy screenshot to clipboard" the copying isn't happening.

Unfortunately, no interesting debug output with --debug either...

I don't think that there is a dependency version problem, because the original reporter uses Ubuntu 22.04 which is quite old, while I use an up to date Manjaro machine which ships very new versions of everything.
