Can't export video, render finishes and receive "Video Decode Ended Early" message.

Expected behavior

Video exports without issues

Hi — this looks like the same root cause addressed by #434 (merged 2026-04-18), which closed #276 and #428 (same "Video Decode Ended Early" symptom).

The fix validates export duration from actual packet timestamps when the WebM container's Duration field is unreliable (Infinity / 0 / inflated), and also repairs audio trim in the speed-aware path.

Important caveats before assuming this is resolved:

1. Latest published release is v1.3.0 (2026-04-02), which predates the fix. Anyone on the installed binary does not have it yet. @litestep23 @ADV-Fukui @cf-bdreyer — can you confirm whether you're running v1.3.0 from the releases page, or a build from main?
2. I only manually tested fix: validate export duration and fix audio trim in speed-aware path #434 on Linux. Windows and macOS were not exercised end-to-end. If any of you are already on a main build and still hit this, it's a genuine residual bug (likely a platform-specific edge in validateDuration or the demux scan) and worth keeping open.

If you can attach:

• the source video container/codec (WebM VP8/VP9/AV1?),
• approximate duration,
• whether trim/speed regions were applied,
• exact app version / commit if building from source,

…that would help narrow down whether this is "waiting for release" or "fix incomplete on Windows/macOS."

Hi @Enriquefft - thanks for looking into this.

-Running V1.3.0, I also tested a version earlier as well, same issue

• Tried multiple recordings, all different durations with same error
• I added only one trim area, but also tried without it as well on other videos
• I can record shorter videos, and they export without issues, only seeing this problem on longer videos (10min +)
• Would there be a way to capture a log during the export for the problematic videos I can provide here?
