[GUI][ROI Imaging] Calculation thread crashes under MacOS

Reported at the mailing list with the frozen binary and reproduced on a recent installation.

The application crashes under PySide6 but not under PyQt5 when performing PCA or NNMA calculations.

If the threads are not used the calculation works.
