Hello,
I encountered an unexpected result in the “Battery Energy Storage with Grid Forming Control in PV Park” example. When the BESS operates in grid-following mode with voltage and frequency support, the frequency at the point of interconnection (POI) exhibits sustained oscillations after a sudden change in solar PV power.

Steps to reproduce
- Open the “Battery Energy Storage with Grid Forming Control in PV Park” model.
- Select “a) BESS grid following with Voltage & frequency support”.
- Run “Evaluate BESS response during sudden Solar PV power variation”.
- Keep all model and controller parameters at their default values.
Actual result
The simulation completes successfully. However, after the sudden PV power change at approximately 1.5 s, the frequency at the POI exhibits sustained oscillations and does not settle. The frequency varies approximately between 58.3 Hz and 61.6 Hz and repeatedly exceeds the frequency limits shown in the result figure. The oscillation continues until the end of the 4-second simulation. The magnitude of the POI voltage oscillation also increases noticeably after the PV power change.
Could you please verify whether the sustained POI frequency oscillation is an unintended behavior in this release and advise whether any model or parameter updates are required to obtain the expected stable response?
