Move Issue @martafafara posted to meta as it mostly pertains to AUX_PSU. The choice of M8 was discussed during the RFC process (link). @gkasprow can triage.
In some project the guided connectors of Amphenol M8 family is used. It concerns at least AUX_PSU and AFE_DAC_External. The problem is with cables availability, what was previously alarmed in the issue. The mechanics of proposed replacement is so designed that Poke-Yoke will be still kept. In my opinion the recommendation mentioned there should be introduced, but the replacement could impact on the whole Sinara system, so another community members should also agree.
