Leaks memory identically to mpvpaper

Summary

Hey, I thought I'd give this a try since I saw on reddit that it claimed to have fixed mpvpaper's memory leaking issues however it appears to be having the same memory leak issue.

At the start

After around 15-20 minutes

The start command was the same as in the sample with no changes to configuration live-paper ~/wallpapers/cottage.mp4

Hmm, memory leaks are almost certainly because of libmpv2 and its underlying components. I will try to pinpoint the actual cause and fix it

Almost certainly, I myself tried a crack at this and that was pretty much my conclusion. Good luck!
