Newest Mac Version (26.2.3) Updated - Runs painfully slow #6445

What happened?

On 2.12.26, after our meeting, we downloaded and installed the lasted release for the Macintosh (YUCK!). When we run the new version, (26.2.3) it opens and loads painfully slow. when opening the new version, it went into a loop of trying to open into a large black screen and within a second trying to switch itself to the normal view and then back to the large black screen and again back to the normal view. It just stayed in this loop for as long as we left it running and I was unable to quit the App. I finally had force shut down the Mac and restart it. The Mac was restarted and we had to quit and reopen the App a few times, and then it finally loaded all the media but took maybe 20 to 30 seconds before it opened and another 15 to 20 seconds before it loaded the media. The old version is still on the Mac, in the Applications folder along-side the new version. Also, I tried as many settings as I could to get it working but in the end, it would open correctly, but painfully slow as well as loading the media very, very slowly. I had to delete the new version and go back to the old version.

Now, after going back to version 24.10.10, when opening M3, it now opens to a large black full screen with the JW logo in bottom right and just stays like that. I then have to go to the start menu and right click Meeting Media Manager and change the check box to "Meeting Media Manager" and then, and only then, I can see the normal window with the profiles. I cannot find a way to make it open directly to the normal window with the profiles like it used to.

It would be good to have a repository of previous Mac versions, (I was unable to find a repository to download an older version) so that if the newest one doesn't work, we could fall back one or two version builds and try that.

Also, I recommend killing this App for the Mac so that Windows computer will have to be used. It runs much more reliably in Windows. It stinks in the MacOS. Not your fault I know. Apple makes everything incredibly difficult.

Do you still need someone to help with testing new versions on the Mac? I might be able to set one up to do that. I will just need to see if I have a Mac that will work.

What did you expect to happen?

Test the new App if necessary or get instructions on how to correctly install it, if different than normal, and make it work as it should.
