The latex physics package define some derivatives:
\dd \dv \pdv \var \fdv
which that: (physics = derivative)
\dd = \odif
\dv = \odv
\var = \fdif
I think you can make aliases to enhance the compability to physics package for:
- Frequent users of the legacy physics package;
- Those who have to maintain a document written with physics;
- Users who failed to use unicode-math with physics.
