Unfortunately, windows is not supported at the moment, it's in the works but won't be possible for now
For Ubuntu, I'd love to get in touch with a package maintainer

scoop would be the better option for Windows since it's oriented toward CLI applications.

No sure how many minimalists are here. Minimalists generally prefer to use the package manager which comes with the OS.

BTW, winget on Windows has tons of 3rd party OSS software. Same for apt on Linux .

Most minimalists also prefer it when package managers only update software that was added through the package manager.
