the triage package now has a sub-package catwalk

(seems a few months old)

it claims to do similar things as mlaut, and follows a similar but not identical design. Maybe worth a look to see what they are doing - or attempting to do.

There does not seem to be a manuscript, or proper design documents, though.

Very interesting package, I'll have a look. There is a triage tutorial: https://dssg.github.io/dirtyduck/#orgaf0096e but indeed I can't see a mention of catwalk in it.

The workflow seems to be constructed around a database like with MLaut. They also focus on palatalisation of the experiments which would be the next logical step for MLaut.
