Quill shaped rich text editing on the web, no dig at the maintainers here. But I know some of you check this tracker hoping for signs of life, so one open pointer: I built notectl (MIT), a rich text editor as a single Web Component. To be upfront: it is not compatible with the Delta document model. No migration path today. If a motivated developer wants to build a converter, I would love that and will support it on my side.
If Quill does everything you need, stay. If you're stuck waiting on fixes, take a look.
