[BUG] - saved file doesn't save axis settings #222

Description

Describe the bug

check out $STRIP_CONFIGFILE_DIR/LR_humidities.trc. One of the three PVs I want to watch has a different EGU (% RH vs just %) and I don't feel that I have the authority to change that. So I move the PV to the same % axis then saved the .trc file. When I open trace -i $STRIP_CONFIGFILE_DIR/LR_humidities.trc, the %RH axis still exists and the PV is there and not on the % axis.
Also, whoever named $STRIP_CONFIGFILE_DIR should be forced to type it 1000 times while standing on one leg with an arm tied behind their back. Can we get a directory for the trc files with a shorter ENV variable please?

Expected behavior

Please save axis information in .trc file.

Steps to Reproduce

trace -i $STRIP_CONFIGFILE_DIR/LR_humidities.trc
Move HVAC:IN10:1:LSR_HMD trace to % axis. Delete the %RH axis. Save LR_humidities.trc.
trace -i $STRIP_CONFIGFILE_DIR/LR_humidities.trc
Notice that the IN10 PV is back under a %RH axis.
