OS X crashing

Hi,

I've installed v4.10.0 and when I attempt to add a new case i get the following error.

so i have JAVA_HOME set to /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_202.jdk/Contents/Home however autopsy is still using /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-11.0.1.jdk/Contents/Home/, I've run the setup script and it's using 1.8. How can I get autopsy to use the correct jdk?

set the Java Home hardcoded (for a test) in your .profile like that

export JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_181.jdk/Contents/Home

and if you really get a running Autopsy let it me know please I would be so happy see one working OSx Version.
Main Problem is Oracle give you no access to older Versions brew removed hole older Versions so you have no chance others than create a Oracle account and try there to get the right Version.
Java is dead, Oracle don't want that anybody use older Versions too many bad news from Security Bugs in the Wild, they don't want such News anymore.

Autopsy want a 1.7.10 you will not get that version anywhere with official Ways for OSx
Brew also removed hole old Versions from cask they only have Open JDK in older Versions or newest Oracle one bot no older one anymore.

In My Eyes here is the Time where OSx Support for autopsy can closed in some Time same with Linux.
Autopsy is not a Application it needs for running first a working Java JDK installation for OSx and also for Linux that way is close in short Time (OSx is closed and Linux will await same)

There is only one Chance, bring hole Autopsy to newest Java Version and than every Time a new Version coms up (Java Version) clean the autopsy source code.

Hole Developers here have my full Respect autopsy is a really good Idea and goes a so hard and long way and now Oracle brings such great Projects near down.
