Need help filling out an "About this specificatiion" section of the SLSA spec. #1548
Description
The SLSA specification needs a TOC category that contains all the technical details that define what it is, who you are, what you consist of, where you are going, etc. Basically the information that's separate from the technical details, but is important to locate easily.
I'll need the team to help complile most of the information below:
About this specification
Who are we?
- I'll need someone to provide the SLSA-approved description of who's developed this technology, names, companies, open source groups involved. Plus a little bit of what and why this project was created.
Licenses and sponsors
- Who are all the key organizations who should be listed. Include links!
What's in this document?
- I can help shape this according to whatever you want to tell people. A little about the purpose, types of requirements it contains, maybe a short list of key contents.
What's new?
- This can be a standard style of simple list and dates. What style do you prefer?
Future directions
- Updates on what information you want to reveal.
Specification stages
- A table on this should include what?
Version history
- Dated breakdown of what users need to know if they need to track back through past version and link to where they can be found.
