Thank you both for the links! The implementation does sound really complex, that's a bummer. As a substitute though, I'd be in favor of implementing a low-tech migration: something that changes the bio to link to the new account, grays out the profile picture, and posts a final “I've moved to that account” message. |

I've been using Bridgy Fed to bridge from Mastodon to Bluesky, but I'd now like to create my own Bluesky account. Is there any way to cleanly do this?
Ideally, I'd like to reclaim the bridged account: log into it directly, and change its handle.
Failing that, I'd like to:
I looked through Bridgy Fed's extensive (nice!) docs, but didn't find anything about migrating off.
