allow a mastodon bridged user to migrate to another fediverse instance without losing followers

• On mastodon, identity is tied to instance, you are @username@server
• when you bridge your account,you got a DID identifier on bridgyfed PDS
• AFAIK the way bluesky allow user migration between different PDS is to move the same DID to a different PDS
• if you want to migrate your mastodon account to another server, you will have a new identity and you have to register on bridgyfed that new identity (after 15 days eventually), thus getting a new different DID.
• the new migrated account had then lost his bluesky followers
• this is a significant concern for people who will found their exit door (from poor instance moderation or for whatever reason) closed

We need a way to allow this on bridgyfed, with a mechanism in which a person in control of both mastodon account, the old and the new, can ask (DM? ) to use the previous DID.

It's as urgent as Bounce 🙂
