keep a log of augmentations

Aim is to provide an indication to the user to what level the content of a metadata record has been augmented by soilwise algorythms

An api is made available which provides an augmentation log for a record

• input: record id
• output:
  • source records used as a source for the record
  • list of elements which have been augmented, by which augmentation process, original value

Examples of augmentations:

• spatial/temporal coverage extracted from context
• keywords, resource type, license matched to a preset list
• keywords extracted from context
• which is the relevant resource link in/for a record
• mediatype/size extracted from file headers
• datamodel extracted from source
