Updating time entry project does not update billable status

Description

When updating an existing time entry's project the billable status does not update accordingly. If the previous time entry's project is non-billable and updated project is billable, the time entry will continue to show non-billable.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create two projects, one billable, one non-billable.
2. Create a time entry with non-billable project.
3. Update the time entry to use billable project.
   Observe how the time entry continues to have non-billable status.

Maybe I'm missing something here but as far as i can see this is the intended behaviour.

The project billable status is a default status for the time entry. There is currently no option to restrict time entries of a project to only be billable or non-billable, you can change time entries assigned to any project to be billable or non-billable. If you change the billable default it should be applied to new time entries that you start for this project. Changing the billable status of all time entries of a project, just because the default changes would effectively result in data loss for all people who have billable and non-billable time entries in a project.

It might be intended indeed, but I'll attach a video for more context.
In the video I didn't demonstrate it, but same can be true if time entry does not have a project at all.

Why I labeled it a bug initially was due to this causing us a lot of mis-matched billable statuses. This is mainly input error, which we didn't know to account for before. Sometimes we finish the time entry before adding a project and overlooked the fact that we needed to manually change it to billable.

I'm not specifically looking for restricting billable, rather having it be filled it from project, if project changes. It might just be our Toggl habbit that is non-issue for many others 🤷🏻

@KasparRosin Thanks for the explanation, sorry I was actually stupid and misread the initial text. I'll check the toggl and clockify implementation for this, but this seems reasonable especially when editing a single time entry. Not sure if its the same behaviour when doing mass updates.

Also the easiest way to fix the existing ones is probably filtering for project and billable status in the detailed reporting view, select all and then mass update them per page.

Yes, right now we fixed the billable statuses with mass updating in the detailed reporting view as well, that worked perfectly.

I checked how Toggl shows billable status when mass updating. It does not update the billable status when assigning a new project. I think that's perfectly fine, as long as it's clear to users.
