Clarify on which platforms it has been tested

This should work fine on Mac and Linux x64 and ARM.

Windows it will not work I don't believe.

once merged, I try again on Linux: from previous tests, there are permissions issues in addition to #17

Work via #38 has confirmed support on Linux and OSX. Windows remains unsupported and untested.
