JUX Function

Here is my Idea for a Function similar to the JUX-Function of Tidal.

def sample_jux (sample_name, options, jux_options)
  jux = {pan: -1}
  j_options = options.merge(jux_options).merge(jux)
  sample sample_name, options
  sample sample_name, j_options
end

or with usage of with_fx

def sample_jux_fx (sample_name, options, jux_options)
  j_options = options.merge(jux_options)
  sample sample_name, options
  with_fx :pan, pan: -1 do
    sample sample_name, j_options
  end
end

It's only an idea, but maybe it's useful for someone else.

Maybe it's possible create a similar effect with supercollider so it's useable with "with_fx" but thats to difficult for a noob like me.

Could you expand a little on how you imagine Sonic Pi's version of jux working? How should it behave? Is it just a matter of emphasising the left channel of a stereo signal?

It's not only emphasing the left stereo channel.
I want to change or add some options to the "input". And this modified sound, should be played on the left stereo channel, while the original sound is on both channels.

Thats what my function does, but only for samples.
I'm not sure if its possible or useful to realise a general form, because play and sample have different options.

Otherwise, I would write a function like the sample_jux only for play.
