Issue regarding compatibility with Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen driver

Hi Sonic Pi team,

I'm running into an audio driver compatibility problem. I own a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd gen). Sonic Pi wouldn't launch properly while the official Focusrite driver was installed.

After trying many troubleshooting steps, I uninstalled the Focusrite driver completely — and Sonic Pi worked immediately. So the Scarlett driver seems to block initialization.

This isn't ideal since uninstalling the driver removes important functionality for music production.

Environment

Sonic Pi version: 4.6.0 (but didn't matter which version, I tried multiple)

OS: Windows 11

Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen)

Driver version: Focusrite Driver 4.143.0 - Windows

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Focusrite Scarlett USB driver

2. Plug in Scarlett 2i2 and set it as system default audio device

3. Launch Sonic Pi

4. Sonic Pi fails to start

@Julien01 - logs would be helpful for troubleshooting. Can you reproduce the issue and send us the logs that are present in [home]\.sonic-pi\log ?
