Layers not showing in Sozi?

Apologies if this does not belong here, but I am experiencing a problem in Sozi - some of the layers in my SVG do not show, and even when I collapse all the layers, the same content does not show in Sozi (it does show in the ubuntu imager viewer, though). Any ideas what the cause could be? I am attaching a screenshot here.
Ubuntu 22.04
Inkscape v1.4
Sozi (latest, installed yesterday).

Don't you forget to click on Add Layer button in Sozi ? By default, you don't see any layer other than the default one.
